What Twitter ReplyPilot Does
Twitter ReplyPilot is a Chrome extension that generates AI-powered replies on Twitter/X using your personal voice and tone preferences.
Data We Collect and How It's Used
All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage (chrome.storage.local). Nothing is sent to our servers -- we don't have any servers.
The extension stores the following locally:
- Your voice profile settings (name, handle, tone preferences, topics)
- Your Anthropic API key (entered by you, stored only on your device)
- Reply history and engagement statistics
- Queue settings and state
- Runtime debug logs
Third-Party Services
The extension connects to two external services:
- Twitter/X (x.com) - The extension reads tweet content from the page to provide context for reply generation. It accesses your Twitter session cookies (twid, ct0, auth_token) solely to authenticate reply posting through your logged-in account. No Twitter data is sent anywhere other than back to Twitter itself.
- Anthropic API (api.anthropic.com) - Tweet text and your voice profile are sent to the Anthropic Claude API to generate replies. This connection uses YOUR personal API key. We have no access to your API key or your API usage. Anthropic's own privacy policy governs how they handle API requests.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect personally identifiable information
- We do not track browsing history or user activity
